The myth of the "sanctuary city": werc rahman position on ICE and federal police in Philadelphia

The myth of a sanctuary city is exposed as fed pigs and local pigs collaborate to deport indigenous worker!

Werc Rahman and black community control of police remain on the side of the oppressed. Declare "hands off the Mexicans by any means necessary!"

"A Philadelphia Police officer escorted a Dominican national out of Philadelphia’s criminal courthouse and into custody of U.S. immigration authorities last week, shortly after a judge had dismissed all criminal charges against the defendant.

The Defender Association of Philadelphia and other advocates questioned what the apparent cooperation with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) meant for Philadelphia’s so-called “sanctuary city” policies."

"The incident raises questions about Philadelphia’s relationship with ICE amid the Trump administration’s crackdown on undocumented immigrants. Mayor Cherelle Parker has not explicitly reaffirmed Philly’s commitment as a sanctuary city, but neither has she revoked the executive orders."

"it is clear that information has been flowing between local police and federal law enforcement."

The above is a quote from an article published in the Philadelphia inquirer on wed April 23.

What the article does not say is that not only was the idea of a sanctuary city a lie but it was a lie told by the parker regime, the ruling class democratic party and the pigs in Philadelphia to make everyone believe that they are on the side of the Mexicans oppressed.

Their greater goal is to attack the campaign to elect independent candidate wali werc Rahman for mayor, which demands the people turn their back on the democratic party and unite with the demand for black community control of the police and reparations to the African and indigenous/Mexican people for 500 years of stolen labor performed on stolen land.

We know this because Parker's regime is responsible for the current police containment of the black community where $1.5 billion is spent each year on police and prisons. How are we to believe that parker and the Democrats are so committed to the Mexican people security when Parker's police kidnap black people and Mexicans and throw us in jail on a regular basis?

In fact the only reason the Dominican comrade was in jail to begin with was cuz sone Philly pig illegally searched and arrested him.

Parker had to pretend to be a champ for the Mexican people to continue to get their political support. But now it is clear that that support never existed.

The oppressed people need revolutionary representation to represent our interests in the ongoing struggle for our liberation.

As mayor and as a revolutionary the committee to elect werc rahman stands opposed to all forms of collaboration with the u.s. colonial court and prison system, not only in word but in practice.

Rahman's practical course of action in response to the ice raids in Philadelphia:

1. Reparations to the African and indigenous/Mexican people from the settler colonial Philadelphia govt. And ruling class. This means:

A. Socialist control of the 1.5 billion of public safety budget and it's redistribution for the purpose of the collective economic development of our communities, not police containment and immigration detainment.

B. All multi million dollar corporations based in or operating in Philadelphia must pay a reparations tax to rectify the surplus value that was extracted from our communities through their monopoly on real estate, production and distribution capacity.

The entire police department budget would go towards this objective. Under this program the Philadelphia police would be a voluntary force and much of it's responsible would be to facilitate the collection of these taxes.

2. Black community control of police: the role of the police in revolutionary society is to defend the human and material resources of the people against the imperialist pigs and capitalist barons.

This means that the role of the Philadelphia police department must transform from a mercenary force with no political unity with the task of serving the people into a voluntary force that comes from the community in which they function.

The policies enforced by black community control of police are defined by a city wide, democratically elected black community control of police commission. Through a city wide organizing campaign the people define the security problems and the solutions, understanding that all crime is economic and political in their basis, and that prisons have only enriched the capitalist and deepened the poverty of the African community. At the same time the u.s. government has never criminalized itself for the theft of this land.

Therefore we have a responsibility to defend the indigenous/Mexican workers and the black community from detainment and arrest by federal or any other u s. police agency - by any means necessary.

With that said the immediate question remains, "how would the detainment of the Dominican national have been avoided under the rahman administration?"

For one he wouldn't have been in court on a gun charge anyway. As stated the gun case was thrown out by the judge due to the lack of evidence. He was arrested guy a pig that don't care about nothing but his stats and his career track under the FOP. This is exactly why we are abolishing all salary/pay for police - it represents a serious "conflict of interest".
