OUR STANCE AND MISSION

We the African workers council was formed to materialize and advance the demands of the Revolutionary national democratic program, one example of which can found on the website of the international peoples Democratic uhuru movement (inpdum.org)

The primary 3 guiding principles of the AWC is:

1. Reparations from the u.s. govt and colonial capitalist ruling class for 500 years of colonial exploitation, stolen labor and genocide, the right to economic development, control of our labor and resources of our homeland of Africa and the right to economic development and creative and productive employment which promote the needs and well being of our entire people.

2. Black community control of police/security/military: the immediate withdrawal of the colonial state and all of its agencies from our homeland and oppressed and exploited communities and the right to mobilize for our own security without the intervention of the colonial state (courts, prisons)

3. The right to international political and economic association with africans and all other peoples anywhere on the face of the earth, including the formation of a principled relationship of solidarity with the north American and European working class under the leadership of the aforementioned principles of the African workers council.

In theory and practice We don't fuck wit pigs - officers of the colonial state apparatus. This means they can't join us, and upon seizure of power they will be repressed and eliminated from existence.

CENTRAL to our platform is the objective of black community control of the police through the absolute and total elimination of the police budget throughout cities across north America - the headquarters of world imperialist white power.

As a means of achieving this objective we are committed to running our members for strategic positions in 'local government ' positions that have THE LEGAL AUTHORITY/power to set the budget policies in such cities. THE MAYORS OFFICE and city council posts are the main posts that give us this strategic capability.

This is an extremely important distinction that must be made from other variations of the RNDP that are found within the overall African liberation movement. Some within the African liberation movement believe that black power can co-exist with black neo colonial pig power , which ain't nothing but white power in black face. This position was popularized in the movie 'the spook who sat by the door'.

The assumption that the objectives of the African liberation movement can be helped by the existence of black cops is insane and opportunist as hell. Through the werc4mayor campaign we have demonstrated how real power to the African community can only be won through the people - black community control of the police. Not through the illusion of influence held by black cops or even so called 'good cops ' within the colonial capitalist police departments.

The real security contradiction confronting the black community is the theft of our resources by capitalists who control the means to produce and distribute food, clothes and shelter, not lack of police funding or police themselves. This is why we say the only way a black cop can demonstrate their loyalty to the black community is to quit they job which requires them to enforce the policies and protect the private property of the capitalist ruling class and turn they guns on the ruling class.

The question of ones commitment to the demand for zero for the police is the concrete and measurable way in Which everyone can demonstrate their unity with the demand for reparations and black community control of the police and it is THIS demand that separates us from rats in red black and green clothing. Any black cop who claims to be in unity with us must quit they job immediately and turn over their guns to the African workers council.

The demand for black community control of the police is also in opposition to the call being made by sectors of the colonial capitalist ruling class for a nation police force which would replace local departments. We are against all forms and manifestations of the colonial state - whether local state or federal , as they all are in place to enforce laws that reflect the interests and opinions of the capitalist ruling class.

However a distinction should be made between the local and federal police in that the local police leadership in many cities is controlled by the mayor and therefore controlled through a supposed local electoral democratic process whereas the federal police would be imposed on a city's population by the federal government, the president and senators and other forces who have far less connection to the people in any given city than the mayor and or city council. That is the only distinction, and it ain't much. But if forced to choose between the two we would say the mayor ally selected police commissioner is of far more strategic value than a national/federal Police commissioner.

Either way though again, our stance is zero funding for all agencies of the colonial police state and redistribution of that wealth to the true security concerns of the people- namely food, housing and transportation and all other things revolving around these key resources such as childcare for example.

Outside of north America, such as in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean our application of the RNDP revolves around the same principles of reparations and a workers military and government - in which all economic policy both foreign and domestic is subordinate to the interests and will of the African working class organized under the leadership of the African workers council.

In these regions we run our forces for president on our platform.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF AWC

1. Achieve the 3 guiding principles of demands of the revolutionary national democratic program (RNDP), including:

-reparations

-black community control of police

-Workers govt / workers military

-revolutionary international solidarity with the anti colonial struggles of all oppressed nations

2. Recruit the masses of african workers and anti colonial forces into its structure, and Run our designated forces for STRATEGIC electoral positions worldwide

3. establish dual and contending government to which all elected officials within colonial govt structures are ultimately accountable, for example In Philadelphia Mayor rahman works 4 and abides by policies of the African workers council, no city of Philadelphia or United States govt

4. DEVELOP AND Implement people's budget 4 reparations peace and social justice everywhere that promote the objectives of the RNDP

5. HOLD INTERNATIONAL FOUNDING CONFERENCE TO ESTABLISH THE AWC INTERNATIONALLY (2026)
